HTP 414 Operating Guidelines
- Place the HTP414 on a sturdy table, no more than 0.9 metre (3 feet) high.
- Ensure there is ample room for the top platen to completely open upwards.
- When closing handle, you must press completely down so it locks. If this is
not done, the handle may spring upward causing injury to the operator.
- To set the pressure on the HTP414, turn the black knob, which is located on the very
top part of the heat press, all the way in a clockwise direction until you cannot turn it anymore.
Then turn half turn in a counter clockwise direction until you feel some resistance.
Not a lot of force is needed.
- Adjust the bottom plate, so top heat element does not press on visor of cap. This is done
by turning the knob at the front of the base.
- To press your garment or product, follow the processing instructions located in each box of transfer paper or within the
Applications Section.
- When the HTP414 Heat Press is not being used, switch it off.
Maintenance
- To clean the heat platen surface, wipe with a soft cloth while it is hot. Do not use any strong solvents. Liquid cleaners can only be used on the platen while it is cold.
- Apply grease through the greasing nipples at least once a month.
