The Angle between the Handle and a horizontal Line should be at least 45 degrees when the upper Platen is just lowered to sit/rest on the lower pad without applying pressure. This will produce high pressure when the handle is closed/pulled all the way down. Note: 45 degrees would be the minimum for high pressure, if you can handle more please increase/+ the pressure. |

When closing the heat press, the handle must be completely down so that the safety latch closes. If this is not done, the handle may spring upward causing injury to the operator. |

When raising the handle, the safety latch must be released first. The heat press will not open unless this latch is released. To press your garment or product, follow the processing instructions located in each box of transfer paper. |
The HTP221 can be left switched on all day even if it is not being used for a few hours. There are no
problems with the heat press overheating but remember to turn it off at the end of the day.
Maintenance
To clean the heat platen surface, wipe with a soft cloth while it is still hot. Do not use any strong solvents.
Apply grease to the greasing nipples at least once a month.
